I am a resident of Winstonville, Mississippi and married to Joyce Scott, owner of Winstonville BBQ Smokehouse.  I have also served as a School Board Member for 10 years.  I am certified with Community Transportation of America Washington, D.C., and have been employed 14 years with DARTS Transportation.  I am also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Goals for District 3:  Seek and apply for grants for flooding areas in District 3.  Hire more law enforcement personnel.  Establish a cohesiveness between local municipalities and the board.  Effectively work with churches, local government, business owners and schools to maintain clean, attractive neighborhoods.  Work to establish schools that are competitive with schools in MS and beyond.  Increase workforce development and vocational programs for citizens 18 and over.
